Get ready for the largest job fair and resource fair in Pierce County! Collaboration for a Cause features more than 100 employers and resources to connect you to finding quality employment and stability. This event is open to the public and is free to attend! All are welcome!

Talk directly with employers who are hiring for open positions right now! Some employers will conduct on-the-spot interviews at the event! On-site resume prep and guidance will be available to ensure your resume is ready for distribution to employers. Pre-event Job Club sessions are also available throughout the month of October to help you prepare for interviews and upgrade your resume.

Ticket includes Welcome beverage, entry to the auction, 5 drink tickets, open access to mouth-watering bites by select area chefs and restaurants, games, raffles, and all other evening activities.
Proceeds benefit the Gig Harbor Senior Center’s programs, services, scholarships, and endowment.

Christmas Regale @ Fort Nisqually Living History Museum

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of modern holidays and experience a real old-fashioned Christmas at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum.

Everyone can join in greeting the arrival of the yule log with toasts and Christmas Carols. Guests will have a chance to take home a piece of the log for their own holiday fire.

Throughout the day, guests of all ages can join in parlor games, make ornaments, and create pomanders. Father Christmas will be visiting the Fort and available for photos.

  • Adults (18+) $18 + fees
  • Youth (4 – 17) $13 + fees
  • Family (2 Adults + up-to 5 Youth) $50
  • Under 3 free

Additional Information:

ADA Accessibility: Wheelchair ramps are located on the back of most buildings. Please note this is an outdoor venue. Gravel paths and grass fields may be slightly uneven.

Davina and the Vagabonds: A Vagabond Holiday @ Federal Way Performing Arts & Events Center

Celebrate the season with a sassy holiday concert that blends blues, swing, and New Orleans Jazz. With a new spin on an old sound, Davina and The Vagabonds have created quite a stir on the international music scene with their high-energy live shows. Davina Sowers has been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, and even Betty Boop. This rollicking quintet melds Sowers’ keyboard playing, with acoustic bass, drums, and a spicy trumpet and trombone horn section. The group’s focused, clean sound and emphasis on acoustic instruments are novel to both blues and jazz worlds and are sure to leave you feeling merry and bright!

The Crab Feed is a family-friendly community event. Bring your appetite, your own crab crackers and picks, and we’ll have your bib waiting!

100% of all proceeds go to benefit our greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula community, from grants and scholarships, to conservation, to diverse programs and services that support and sustain our community.

This event is BYOC (Bring Your Own Crab Crackers).

Explore Yeti and Bigfoot lore, meet costumed characters, use real tools to shave ice, skate in your socks, learn how to snowshoe with Olympia Mountaineers, investigate an ice cave hideout, and see exciting Dr. Science experiments with ice and fire.

Plus, special activities honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Jan. 15.

• Use real tools to shave ice
• Investigate Yeti versus Bigfoot lore and discover the differences between these large legends

• Learn how to snowshoe with Olympia Mountaineers (Jan. 13-14, 11:00am-3:00pm)
• Explore Puget Sound sea creatures and look at specimens who can tolerate the ice-cold waters with the Estuarium
• See Dr. Science experiment with setting Ice on Fire (Jan. 13-14)

• Create an Abominable Snowman to race (Jan. 13-14)
