This family-friendly event also includes a fruit pressing, NA beverages, food vendors, and educational activities all afternoon.

Craftopia: Granny Squares class @ Craftopia
Oct 7 @ 2:00 pm

They may sound old-fashioned, but there is nothing cooler than Granny Squares. In this class, crocheters will learn the basic pattern to a granny stitch and learn how to make it straight, round or square. You’ll be stitching like a…erm…granny by the time you are done! You should already be confident with single crochet before taking this class. Double crochet a plus, but not required. Hook and yarn will be available, or bring your own if you prefer.
$15 per person. Register at www.craftopiawa.com

Craftopia: Papermaking class @ Craftopia
Oct 7 @ 4:00 pm

Join us for a family-friendly, fun class making your very own paper! Learn about the process and make sheets of your very own paper to take home. You’ll be able to play with color, decorations, and make your very own unique paper to turn into cards, journals, or anything else you can dream of. Recommended for ages 6+. Children under 10 need a parent with them to help. Paper takes about 24 hours to dry, so you can make arrangements to pick up your dried paper later at the studio, or bring a towel and box to transport home to dry yourself.
