You’ll be able to weave and decorate your pumpkin wreath form with a variety of ribbons, ropes, beads and fabrics, then add any other festive decorative embellishments to really make your seasonal décor pop. You can even add fairy lights to brighten these shorter, darker days. Ages 16+

Craftopia: Bleeding Candles class @ Craftopia

Things are getting spooky with these amazing candles that bleed when they burn! These candles are hand-dipped in red wax first to create a bleeding core, then select your outer color to finish off your stylish seasonal candle. We will be using very hot wax and our hands, so this class is for ages 14+ (younger may attend with parental supervision, but please contact us first).

Craftopia: Beginning Weaving class @ Craftopia

In this class, learn the basic techniques of weaving to create your own wall hanging. Choose from a variety of colors, materials, and styles of yarn and rope to make your very own hanging art piece! While the technique is fairly simple, this can be a time-consuming process, so learners may need to complete their project at home.
$15/project. Recommended for ages 12+.

The Art, Poetry, and Ecology of Cascadia @ Washington State History Museum

Hear from some of the talented contributors to Cascadia Field Guide: Art, Ecology, Poetry, which brings together art, poetry, and stories holding scientific, sensory, and cultural knowledge to celebrate and illuminate Cascadia, the diverse ecoregion stretching from Alaska’s Prince William Sound to Northern California and from the Pacific Coast to the Continental Divide.

Contributors will also participate in a question and answer session with the audience and an informal book signing.

Craftopia: Quilled Cards class @ Craftopia

Try your hand at the ancient art of rolling paper. We’ll discuss tools of the trade and learn several rolling techniques before being set loose to make your very own quilled creation. Each month we will bring you a design showcasing different quilling skills. Our theme will be a pumpkin design, though students may choose to do their own design as well.. You can make your creation on cardstock to fold into a card or a canvass if you prefer.
$15 per person. Recommended for ages 7+

Craftopia: Fiberholics Anonymous meet up @ Craftopia

Do you love yarn?  Is your embroidery thread collection of epic proportions? Are hooks, needles, and looms filling your space?  Then this is the place for you!  Join us once a month for a fiber-lover meet-up.  The first Friday of every month from 5-7pm, our community room will be opened for fiber artists of all varieties to hang out, work on projects, chat, laugh and relax.
Light refreshments are available, but feel free to bring your own food and drink as well.  RSVP’s are appreciated but not required. www.craftopiawa.com

Fall Interchangeable Door Hanger Paint Party @ Crafty AF Studio

Then we will paint the insert for your door hanger!
We will have a few options available at every class, so you can choose what matches your personality and decor. We will paint and assemble in the class.
I will be helping you try different techniques such as blending, ombre, distress and more so you can create a piece that you love.

Please reserve your spot 48 hours in advance. No Cancellations within 48 hours. We work hard to cut and prepare all the pieces needed for classes. If you do need to cancel for any reason, we can work with you and make a DIY kit, open studio, or credit for a future class.

Please arrive 15 min early so we can start on time.
We do provide aprons, please wear clothes that you do not mind getting paint on. It happens.
