Think wine, beer or cider festival – but more! Summer Sips brings locally crafted ‘sips’ to the masses, replete with live music throughout the day. Whether you’re into beer, cider, wine, spirits, or something softer, there’s sure to be something to wet your whistle.

THE CAUSE: Proceeds fund grants to area organizations, schools and agencies for environmental education, stewardship, restoration and land conservation initiatives within the KGI watershed.
TICKETS: $18 – Volunteer; $30 – Regular Online (thru 6/25); $35 – Late Online (thru 7/8); $40 – Day Of Event (7/9); $10 – Designated driver

The Greater Gig Harbor Foundation is a qualified charitable 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the greater Gig Harbor and Key peninsula region of Washington’s South Puget Sound. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Art on the Ave is back! This year the streets will be open but the sidewalks, parking lots and businesses will be full of great food, music, and creativity of all kinds. Join us Saturday, July 16th from noon to 5pm. Be sure to walk the entire district from State to Alder so you don’t miss a thing! This is a free event for the community with a special partnership with Savorfest which will located be in the Tapco Credit Union parking lot and a Kid’s Corner located in the Catffeinated parking lot. Island Empire Tour featuring Fiji, Sammy J, Eli Mac and Western Conference
Good news for outdoor concert fans! The Island Empire Festival featuring Fiji, Sammy J, Eli-Mac and Western Conference is coming to Tacoma’s Dune Peninsula on Saturday, July 16. Bring your chairs and blankets for seating on the lawn at this beautiful waterfront park with expansive water and mountain views.

Dune Concerts Presented by Point Ruston
Come out to dance and celebrate Pride on the Cambia Legacy Lawn at Dune Peninsula. Enjoy live music on the main stage from Vicci Martinez with performances by Jamie Von Stratton, Rachelle LaNae and more while taking in views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and Tacoma’s waterfront.

- Host: Irene Dubois -Irene is a super host with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater. You can find her hosting at Queer Bar and Julia’s On Broadway.
- DJ Special K – You can find Kharen DJing on the weekends at Night Market and Drag Brunch Market, she is a favorite in the community!
- DJ Miss M – DJ MISS M plays for the Seahawks, Seattle Storm DJ, and UW Huskies Basketball Mens/Womens DJ. Her podcast is heard all over the world in 100+ countries. She is a resident DJ for IHeartradio in Seattle, Portland and Sacramento.
- DJ Zehno – Miami based DJ and winner of Dinah Shore DJ battle. DJ Zehno is a well-known female DJ that brings passion to the decks, her love for music keeps everyone dancing!
- DJ Lauren Von Deadly – Spinning at the Splash Park!
- Live Music: Rachelle LaNae – Rachelle is a local singer-songwriter. She creates original music for individuals, companies, film and tv. She also works as a lyricist, teacher, recording artist, performer, and podcaster.
- Live Music: Vicci Martinez and band -Vicci Martinez is an American singer-songwriter and actress from Tacoma, Washington. She placed third on NBC’s singing competition series The Voice in 2011 and played a role in the series Orange is the New Black. She released her 2012 album with Republic Records, and self-released her 2015 album.

Tacoma’s Arts and Culture Festival
Great news for summer festival fans! Mosaic, Tacoma’s Arts and Culture Festival, returns to Wright Park in Tacoma on July 23 and 24 after a two-year hiatus.
Help kick off the weekend at 11 am on July 23 by joining the Walk of Destiny, then stay for a kaleidoscope of dance, music, art, food and family fun, set under the shady trees of Wright Park. This family-friendly, free event continues its 34-year tradition with a Kid’s Zone, hands-on cultural activities and experiences, two performer stages, as well as numerous arts and crafts, food, and information vendor booths.
