Tacoma Arts Live presents Theater Simple’s Caravan Chronicles @ Wapato Park
Aug 14 @ 2:00 pm

Internationally acclaimed, award-winning theater simple has built a reputation for producing ensemble-based innovative and “impossible” theatrical experiences. Whether in a theater, in a park, ‘out of the ‘box,’ or around the world, they create works that surprise and inspire with imagination, vision and moxie.

Caravan Chronicles is an intimate interactive public art event, disguised as a family reunion, set in and around a vintage trailer. Audience members become part of the ‘family’ at a semi-traditional (and highly idiosyncratic) family reunion, contributing to the family lore with story-plates, memories and haiku of their own. As the installation continues, the stories (and plates) accumulate and the family becomes richer and more connected.

Interactive games will be available before performances beginning at 1:30 p.m.
