Fort Nisqually Living History Museum @ Fort Nisqually Living History Museum
Aug 14 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Fort Nisqually is open to the public! Visit Friday through Sunday for an outdoor museum experience.

Fort Nisqually, the first globally connected settlement on the Puget Sound, was established in 1833 by the Hudson’s Bay Company. Today, the Fort engages a diverse regional audience with Puget Sound’s first globally connected settlement through historic preservation, experiential learning, and interpretation.

Living History Interpreters are on site to share their passion for history. Grab one of our “kits of the day” for a hands on activity you can do at the museum or at home. Kits may include book binding, knot tying, or trade bead necklaces to name a few. This offer is good while supplies last.

Fort Nisqually Living History Museum is excited to welcome our community back. We have missed you! For the health and safety of our guests, staff and volunteers, we have made significant changes to our Fort experiences. Please review new guidelines on our website
