* The HEALING SOUL DOLL is made with intention and love and helps you relate to your inner wise woman.
* The HEALING SOUL DOLL is like a personal guide that you create for yourself.
She symbolizes the personal characteristics you need in your life now.

Process
* Define your purpose for the HEALING SOUL DOLL…what does she represent?
*Her body can be made from driftwood, sticks & dressed with symbols and objects from nature or you may choose to make a soft body from canvas or fabric and stuff it with fiberfill. You can then paint or sew objects on it.

(Let’s trust the process and let go of preconceived notions of how your doll should look and assist the form it wishes to take!)

Materials
Paints, brushes, glitter, sequins, feathers, buttons, glue, scissors, yarn, raffia, needles, thread, beads…
You can sew photographs or poetry or journal entries directly on to the doll, or hide prayers, crystals & intentions within the doll. (bring what you would like)

The making of the HEALING SOUL DOLL is a deeply personal ritual to bring to form a part of yourself that is emerging from your unconscious.
We will:
* Work on turning off the inner critic
* Relax and “allow” it to come
* Have fun with this process, rather than “make” it happen
* Let it flow out of you without filtering

Join Tacoma Aikikai for our second annual Aikido Open House – an interactive and kid-friendly community event, free and open to the public at our 12th Street Dojo, 2502 S. 12th St., Central Tacoma. Learn about aikido and martial arts training, as we open our doors to community members, friends, and family. This year, we celebrate our first anniversary in the Central District, with food, games, hands-on workshops, and a community class. Don’t miss the demonstrations and raffle give away too. Grand prize is free membership. Saturday, March 21st, 2-5pm. Schedule: 2-3:30 games and workshops; 3:30-4:00 community class (kids and adults); 4:00-4:30 demonstrations; raffle drawing.
