Bring your family, friends, and the railroad enthusiasts in your life to see this showcase of the most spectacular and detailed model railroad scenes in the Pacific Northwest! Train clubs from throughout Western Washington will set up their amazing layouts throughout the museum. You can also see the largest permanent public model train layout in Washington, and drive the freight train simulator. Parents and guardians take a break in the South Sound Activity Room, where kids can get hands-on with toy trains, Lincoln Logs and Legos while you rest your feet and peruse a magazine on the sidelines.

Santa will be on hand for free digital photos from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM on Dec. 21, 22, and 23.

This class is perfect for those who want to get healthy or make healthier choices, but aren’t sure where to start or are confused by all the online information and diets. It was created for those who have heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammatory diseases and chronic pain who need to make serious changes in the way they eat, live, move and think. If you are sitting on the sidelines watching life it is time to Take Back Your Life!

Learn To Meditate @ Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center

Meditation is for everyone! Of course, that doesn’t mean we are all natural meditators. Most everyone needs help learning how to start, improve, and master the practices of meditation. ?

We will be looking at meditation to see some basic skills. The skills we need to bring into our practice to enjoy taking time to meditate.?

The basics are important for everyone, so you can expect to meet and talk to meditators with all kinds of experience. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background.?

Everyone is welcome.
You can drop in for any class or attend the whole series, as your schedule permits.

This class repeats every Thursday evening until March 26th.
