Take a break from the hustle and bustle of modern holidays and experience a real old-fashioned Christmas at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum. A highlight of the event is the arrival of the yule log, towed in by young visitors at 1 pm. Everyone can join in greeting the yule log with toasts and Christmas Carols. Guests will have a chance to take home a piece of the log for their own holiday fire. Throughout the day, guests of all ages can join in parlor games, make ornaments, and create pomanders. Father Christmas will be available for visits and photos.

Ages 3 and under: Free
Youth (4-17): $8.50
Military/Senior (65+): $9.50
Adult (18-64): $10.50
Family (Up to 2 adults + 6 youth): $35.50

5th Annual Handmade Market & Mingle at Union Club (539 Broadway in downtown Tacoma). Free entry + free food + free kids’ craft + 30 handmade vendors! Support Northwest Immigrant Rights Project raffle + get a free goodie bag with a $20 raffle ticket purchase! Each maker also donates 10% of their sales to NWIRP. Vendor area is not ADA accessible. The main floor (raffle, snacks, craft) has 1 stair to enter.

Vendors include bath products, jewelry, decor, treats, art, and more!

3. What types of content and photography you need
4. How to find and cultivate local customers and build community

Who should attend?
Small businesses, entrepreneurs, marketers advocates and non-profits. This course is not an introduction to social media, ideally you should already have and use your social media for your business. You’ll learn how to reduce the barriers to posting.

Regular ticket price: $100

This is not a kid friendly event and there is no onsite childcare.
