The 35th annual Washington Sportsmen’s Show presented by Leupold returns to the Washington State Fair Events Center, in Puyallup, February 2-6, 2022. Outdoor adventures far and near start here with hundreds of fishing and hunting exhibitors, guides and outfitters, new gear, boats, experts and thousands of items on sale at show-only prices. The Outdoor Cooking Competition takes center stage all days of the show with some of the country’s top grillers and BBQ pro’s. Don’t miss the Head and Horns Competition. If you think you have a set of antlers, horns or a head that’s special, bring it to the show to have it scored and entered into the competition for prizes. Public lands advocate and hunter Randy Newberg will be at this year’s show from Thursday to Sunday. He’ll be spending time at the show and doing daily Q & A sessions on public lands hunts, elk and other big game. The iconic Sportsmen’s Show seminar series is all-new with new speakers and topics. If you’re looking to brush-up on your use of fishing electronics make sure you stop by Garmin’s Tech Center. Whether you’re a novice or a pro you’ll learn how to get the most out of your fishing electronics from these experts. Come check out our vehicles for sale, buy some cool items from our vendors, and enjoy some LIVE Music!
This event will be a festive environment, with our friend Mr Terry the BBQ food truck man offering a FREE BBQ sandwich to the first 100 people sponsored by Auto Auction Buyers Club Auto Sales, and will have other items available for purchase as well.
We will invite a few select vendors to sell their wares as well, there will be some entertainment on hand, and we’re going to have a great time!

Yoga and Nature Walks @ Point Defiance Park Rhododendron Garden

(Age 13+) Slow down and enjoy the healing benefits of time spent in nature with a mindful yoga practice. Meet at the picnic shelter at the Rhododendron Garden and enjoy a walk along the gravel trail of the Garden Loop. We will stop along the way to practice breathing techniques, mindful movement, and gentle stretches while observing and listening to the forest around us. This class is great for yoga beginners or anyone that enjoys being outdoors. No yoga mats needed but comfortable attire and shoes recommended. In partnership with Yoga Wild and class will be led by a Yoga Wild Instructor.

Klahowya @ Fort Nisqually Living History Museum

Fort Nisqually celebrates the historic and contemporary diversity of our region by opening its doors to welcome all members of the community to experience life in the 1850s. Admission to this event is complimentary for all Pierce County residents.

In 1855, Fort Nisqually was home to people from around the world and they greeted each other with the Chinook Jargon word “Klahowya.”

The fort will be filled with historical interpreters in period clothes eager to answer questions and engage visitors in hands-on activities. The day will include food sampling, live music and dancing, and demonstrations of 19th-century skills.

Queen Victoria’s birthday! @ Fort Nisqually Living History Museum

Join us at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum for a day of revelry in honor of Queen Victoria’s birthday! Celebrate with cannon fire and Victorian finery.
Many of the Fort’s ladies and gentlemen will be dressed in their finest 1850s fashion. Throughout the day, guests can visit with our historical interpreters, join in a game of croquet, explore hands-on activities, and enjoy live music and dance performances. Afternoon tea, a Queen Victoria favorite, will be served to visiting guests.
