Join Dupont Parks & Recreation for an exciting Speed Puzzle Competition on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM! Gather your team of four (ages 10 and up) and race to assemble puzzles for a chance to win some awesome prizes! An Intimate Evening with Gregory Alan Isakov @ The Washington Center for the Performing Arts

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and now calling Colorado home, horticulturist/musician Gregory Alan Isakov has cast an impressive presence on the indie-rock and folk worlds with his six full-length studio albums: That Sea, The Gambler; This Empty Northern Hemisphere; The Weatherman; Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony; Evening Machines (nominated for a Grammy award for Best Folk Album), and his newest album, Appaloosa Bones. Isakov tours internationally with his band, and has performed with several national symphony orchestras across the United States. When Isakov is not on the road, he runs Starling Farm (a small farm in Boulder County), which provides produce to CSA members, restaurants, and Community Food Share (a local food bank).

Join us this winter for Family Saturdays! Explore how history connects us all during this hour-long storytime program designed for children ages 4 to 10 and their families.

This month’s Family Saturday story is Music is in Everything by Ziggy Marley, a book about music’s many forms. We’ll read the book together and spend time exploring how different people make music to share their culture in our exhibition, ‘Washington My Home.’ Then, you’ll have the chance to create your own instrument.
