Science Fair follows nine high school students from around the globe as they navigate rivalries, setbacks and, of course hormones, on their journey to compete at The International Science and Engineering Fair.

An audience choice award winner at both Sundance and SXSW, Science Fair has been hailed as “immensely likable, brilliant and quirky, an ode to the teenage science geeks on whom our future depends.”

Don’t miss this refreshing and inspirational look at the future scientific leaders of our world.

Have fun watching patterns unfold before your very eyes!

Create an AMAZING piece of art for yourself on a large 16×20 canvas!

$48 per person. 16×20 canvas Includes all supplies and a fun demo too!

You will learn EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW to properly mix paints and pour them onto your canvas and make the most amazing ABSTRACT black and white patterns with AWESOME CELLS!!

Each person will get to create their own black and white Acrylic pour art on a 16×20 canvas.

We will teach you everything you need to know to create successful paint pours at home.

*Please note: Due to the nature of the art, these do require a minimum of 24 hour dry time and you will need to come back to pick up your work on our next business day or at your earliest convenience. Optional…. BRING A LARGE BOX TO LAY IT FLAT IN. YOUR ART WILL CHANGE A BIT ON THE DRIVE HOME.

PLEASE WEAR OLD CLOTHING THAT YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT, you WILL get messy!

Tacoma Runners Thursday Run @ Tacoma

The Thursday night beer run started in January, 2010, with just seven runners. It’s a social run that now exceeds one hundred runners nearly every week of the year. Thousands of people have joined this run from every corner of the region.

The Thursday night run is approximately three miles long. This distance is a night off for some; it’s aspirational for others.

DIY Airplant Garden Terrarium Workshop @ Dazed & Reused Art Studio

Unleash your inner artist and have a fun experience learning how to create and maintain beautiful airplant gardens.

We seriously put out a stock pile of DIY Glass containers for terrariums. Reduce waste and learn how to create fun gardens out of all sorts of containers. *(Please note, we are subject to the type of glass we come across in salvage, there will be ALL sorts to choose from, coffee pots, vases, bowls etc…)

We also supply you with paints, sands, stones for painting, amethyst crystals, an array of moss, beads, seashells, and even glitters!

Let us teach you how AMAZING air plant terrariums are and to how care for them in this super fun workshop.

$35 per person. includes all supplies

Children under 17 must be accompanied by a PARTICIPATING adult. all guests must be ticketed, thank you.

Mandala stones are truly MAGICAL! Join us for a fun and inspiring afternoon!

Let us teach you how to create amazing heart mandala patterns on a beautiful sandstone that will help to center your heart energy.

We will teach you the pattern shown, however the creativity and color choice is all yours in our creative studio! We teach you the foundation, you provide the artistry.

Psychoanalyst Carl Jung has called it “a representation of the unconscious self.” The mandala is widely recognized as a meaningful reflection of its creator. Mandala art therapy & healing can be a great source of reflection on one’s soul.
