Touch-A-Truck event! @ Port of Tacoma Administration Building

Bring the whole family to the Port of Tacoma’s annual FREE Touch-A-Truck event! Meet the people who make your port work for you!

Snap a photo in front of a 42-foot-tall straddle carrier, enjoy free snacks, see a locomotive up close, view key maintenance and security vehicles and many more pieces of equipment!

When: Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Port of Tacoma Administration Building- 1 Sitcum Way, Tacoma, WA 98421
Must be accompanied by an adult.

Polar Bear Plunge @ Point Defiance Marina Public Boat Launch

Jan 1 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Kick off the new year by plunging (or walking) into Puget Sound!

All ages welcome. Youth under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Costumes welcome but not required. Shoes/foot protection highly recommended. For the safety of participants, life jackets will be available, and lifeguards will be stationed on the docks.
