Craft Saturdays at Job Carr Cabin Museum: Butterfly Suncatcher @ Job Carr Cabin Museum

Job Carr Cabin Museum is offering socially-distanced Craft Saturdays! Take-home craft kits include all the materials and instructions needed for a fun at-home activity.

June 12, Butterfly Suncatcher – Children can use the materials provided in this take-home craft kit to create a butterfly suncatcher.

Pick up a free craft kits from the Museum’s front porch, 11am – 1pm, while supplies last, at Job Carr Cabin Museum, 2350 N 30th St, Tacoma, WA 98403

Please use social distancing etiquette when you pick up your craft kit.
Instructional videos will also be posted on the Museum’s YouTube channel.

These Craft Saturday events are designed to meet state and local public health guidelines.
– All visitors must wear face coverings.
– Please maintain at least six feet distance from other museum visitors.
– Visitors will not be able to enter the museum building.

Take a look into the annual Cascade Conducting masterclass with Maestra Sarah Ioannides, Cascade Conducting Director Teo Benson and composer David Ludwig, new dean and director of music for the Juilliard School. Students of the festival will share their experiences as well.

The 2021 Cascade Conducting program will take place during the last two weeks of June. It includes conducting and composing emphases both virtually and in person as students record six compositions with Symphony Tacoma. This conversation will be simulcast on Symphony Tacoma’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
