Summer Kickoff X-Country 5k @ Meadow Parks Golf Course

Join us at Meadow Park Golf Course for a Friday night 5k! The Summer Kickoff X-Country 5k begins at 7 pm on June 15 and is a chip-timed, cross-country style race on the fairways and trails at the golf course.

After the event participants are invited to a beer garden and party on the deck near the driving range. Challenge your friends to a game of corn hole or a putting contest while enjoying music and a free beverage. Minors are welcome and will receive a free Orange Crush or rootbeer float.

This event is presented by Sound Credit Union and Metro Parks Tacoma.

VIBE Inaugural Trap Shooting Tournament @ Tacoma Sportsmen's Club

Join UW Tacoma for Trap Shooting to support VIBE and their activities. Proceeds will benefit the VIBE Business Incubator at UW Tacoma. The Veterans Incubator for Better Entrepreneurship (VIBE) serves UW Tacoma veterans and military affiliated students and all UW entrepreneurs. By partnering with entrepreneurs from the community the VIBE Business Incubator provides a supportive environment for all UW students to create their own professional lanes through entrepreneurship while earning a degree.

Trap Shooting is one of the three disciplines of competitive clay pigeon shooting.

At the tournament you will be shooting in teams of five. Each team will shoot 25 shots per round. Each team will shoot two rounds (50 shots) for the tournament.

YWCA’s Healthy Love Healthy Heart 5K @ Point Ruston
