The Blue Mouse is Tacoma’s home of The Rocky Horror Picture Show – Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Call 253.752.9500 for the Current Schedule.

We are lucky to have a dedicated and talented cast, the Blue Mousketeers, to come and perform along with the movie on our stage.

If you’ve never seen this cult classic you should – it’s a lot of fun. But you should read to the bottom of this page to read about the movie, as it may offend some viewers… as much as it delights others.

Tacoma Noise Rodeo @ Honey @ Alma Mater
Nov 30 @ 7:00 pm

Esoteric electronic music has always had a hard time finding a place and a time.

Tacoma Noise Rodeo exists because there is no outlet for in Tacoma for who make music that tends towards the experimental. The idea behind the noise rodeo is to locate this venue. Each of the artists was selected because of their vision of what music should be.

Each artist is given 30 minutes to fill with their vision of sounds. Afterwards the three artists play a 30 minute freeform collaborative jam.

Its not about what any artist playing is going to do stylistically, its not if they fit in with the theme for the evening, or the music the other artists are playing. Its that they choose and they play what they think should be played.

That place is Honey @ Alma Mater.
The time is Friday November 30th at 7pm.
The price? Free

Growing up with Christmas – A Christmas Handbell Concert @ Little Church on the Prairie
Dec 2 @ 4:00 pm

The Rainier Ringers Community Handbell Ensemble presents their Christmas concert ” GROWING UP WITH CHRISTMAS”. The music selection features three different views of Christmas that we might have as we grow up. As a child, many of us enjoyed (and still enjoy) animated TV shows like “A Charlie Brown Christmas” or “The Year Without a Santa Claus”. As we grew older, Christmas may have had more of the romantic focus, giving the perfect gift to the one you love or enjoying a sleigh ride with that special someone. And eventually we come to realize the true meaning of Christmas. Several of our other selections from these three phases include “Last Christmas” by Wham, “O Holy Night” and Mannheim Steamroller’s version of “Angels We Have Heard on High”. Please join us and bring the whole family!
