Grab your Cat Passport and join Gabby on an a-meow-zing adventure with GABBY ON THE GO! a cat-tastic new experience full of fun FREE activities. Traveling across the United States this summer and fall the GABBY ON THE GO! tour takes visitors on a journey inspired by the popular animated television series now streaming on Netflix. Attendees can pick up their very own official paw-sport and make their way through five different stations of fun hands-on activities.

When GABBY ON THE GO! pulls into Washington families will have the chance to take part in an array of creative and fun interactive activities as they travel through the experience collecting stamps in their Cat Passport. Fans will be able to meet Gabby for an unmissable photo opportunity fill in their cat character in their passport play with new Gabby toys from Spin Master receive a Gabby temporary tattoo and spin the prize wheel.

Craftopia: Soap Making class @ Craftopia

Have you ever wondered how to make soap from scratch? Well, now is your chance to learn about cold-pressed soap! This 90-minute class will start with a demonstration of making a soap base using various oils and goat milk, as well as discussing the challenges and safety precautions required when using sodium hydroxide for saponification. The soap base will then be divvied up and students will be able to color and scent their batch to make their very own personalized bars of soap. You will be sent home with three bars of your very own as well as instructions on how to cure it. Cold processed soap requires three to four weeks to cure, so please be sure you have a place with good airflow for it to rest for that time before using. This class does involve the use of sodium hydroxide which is caustic, so right now this class is for ages 16+ only.

Craftopia: Volunteer Packing Party @ Craftopia

Join us once a month to help prepare and pack up craft kits. These kits are donated free of charge to the Tacoma Public Library. The libraries then distribute them to the community so people of all ages can learn new skills and explore their creative side. Packing parties include prepping and stuffing of supplies into ziplock bags. We make 300 kits each month, so prepare for lots of repetitive motion. Light refreshments are available, but feel free to bring food/drink for yourself.
