The 6th Annual HIT the Trail 5k Fun Run will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10 am. The cost is $30 for community members and $15 for students. The event will include 2 laps around TCC’s beautiful campus, starting and finishing at the same location. This is a student-coordinated event, and the funds raised benefit the Business student scholarship fund at TCC.
This year’s commemorative T-shirts feature a beloved quote from the founder of the event Char Gore and were designed by students in the Project Management class.
We’d love to have your support and see you on the trails!
Join us one Saturday each month for a FREE, family friendly craft event! Each month we will feature several different crafts for a variety of ages and experience levels. Bring the whole family, your friends, your neighbors and join us for some crafty fun!
Light refreshments are available. Donations are always appreciated to help cover expenses.
For 2023, we are hosting our Free Family Craft Night the 3rd Saturday of each month from 4-6pm.

Ahoy! The Symphony Tacoma Brass Quintet is hitting the high seas and taking you with them! Join the crew of the mighty brass-beards for a sea-themed musical adventure and search for musical treasures like timbre, pulse, dynamics and range. Featured music includes a variety of tunes inspired by pirates, the sea and Russian Sailors.
Come early for the instrument petting zoo at 1:30 pm!
Mini Maestros is designed especially for children ages 2-8 and their families. Each concert highlights a different family of orchestra instruments with curriculum prepared by Early Childhood Learning experts. Educator and emcee Shay Ryan introduces the instruments and musical concepts while Symphony Tacoma musicians demonstrate by playing songs that get kids singing, dancing, clapping their hands–and learning!
Welcome to our new art series designed for our homeschool friends! Join us each Tuesday for a fun session where you’ll learn about different art and craft techniques. We’re starting with paint, and learners will get to explore the amazing world of paint in all its mediums and techniques. Come by once or come back every week to continue growing. Ages 6-7 from 12-1pm. Ages 8-10 from 1-2pm. Ages 11+ from 2-3:30pm.
1 hour classes are $25 per student. 1.5 hour classes are $30per student. Prices include all instruction and materials.

Women In Leadership 2023 – Hosted by Junior League of Tacoma
Each year, a selection of women are awarded from Washington State for their outstanding leadership in the community. You won’t want to miss an evening with these women as they tell their stories and respond to questions regarding their path to leadership including challenges, sacrifices, and successes.
Our emcee for the evening will be Dona Ponepinto, returning emcee, President of the Association of Junior Leagues International, and President and CEO of United Way Pierce County.
