Dec 31 all-day

This Holiday Season, The Commons Mall in Federal Way is hosting a mall-wide, season-long Free Family Holiday Experience called NORTH POLE ON TOUR Nov. 27 through Dec. 31 during mall hours.

This one of a kind family holiday event gives guests an exclusive glimpse of Santa & Mrs. Claus’s North Pole home in a family walking and activity tour.

Over 20 displays and activities are located throughout the mall featuring stops like Santa’s Stables, North Pole Shipping Co., Mrs. Claus’s Clauset, Peppermint Packaging Gift Wrapping, Elfployee Cafeteria and many more – including Santa’s Sweet Shoppe where socially distanced Santa Photos are available by reservation.

As guests visit each location, they can complete a word search scavenger hunt and a holiday trivia game for a Santa photo discount and free gift. In addition, there are several Family Photo Stops to capture the memories.

This is a free event and no tickets are required. You can print out your guide at home or pick one up at Guest Services near the Macy’s entrance. Visit www.ShoptheCommonsMall.com for details, guide and Santa photo reservations.

Painting Lotus Flowers @ Artful Dreamers
Jan 30 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

LOTUS FLOWER on ZOOM

MUST REGISTER AT: https://www.artfuldreamers.com/offerings

Why Paint the Lotus Flower?

The lotus flower only grows in the murkiest of mud and yet the blooms are incredibly beautiful and water easily rolls off each petal.

We paint the lotus flower when we desire the energy of BLOOMING despite the challenges, or the mud, we may be facing.

Let’s rise out of 2020’s muck into the blooming of 2021.

Like the lotus we can rise through and above the mud to blossom in the sunshine.

We will paint a Lotus bringing in own color choice and style to the painting.

The Lotus is a powerful sacred symbol showing you that even out of the darkest muck, a Lotus can bloom.

‘No Mud, No Lotus’ – Thich Nhat Hanh

Through life’s challenges, we are being prepared to bloom.

Create the JOY you want in your life by first creating it on canvas!
