WINTER CAMPS AT THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF TACOMA HONOR AND NURTURE YOUR CHILD’S CURIOSITY, CREATIVITY, AND IMAGINATION!
Winter Camps at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma are a fusion of artistic inquiry, scientific discovery, and playful learning. Nurturing educators engage children in hands-on experiences within our classroom and exclusive explorations of the Museum’s 5 playscapes.
Children 4-8 years old
Snack is provided each day. Children will need to pack a sack lunch
Children of all abilities are encouraged to participate in our camps.
In order to ensure a fun and safe experience for your 3-8 year old child, please inform us if your child has any allergies and/or special needs.
Children must be able to use the bathroom independently.
The Children’s Museum of Tacoma does not provide 1:1 supervision for participants needing assistance with personal care; however, care providers are welcome to attend camp at no extra charge and will be asked to complete a background check.

EFT Tapping for Stress Relief @ Invincible Health & Wellness

Certified EFT coach, Michelyn Gjerasic will be sharing some powerful resources on how to de-stress and self-sooth when you find yourself triggered in a stressful situation. This class is great for anyone, but especially helpful for those suffering from PTSD.

This is a 2 hour workshop on how to eat a “whole Food” diet. That is eating foods as close to the source as possible. I talk about the importance of eating the right carbohydrates as well as healthy Fats, eating enough fruits and vegetables, reading labels, and tie in the importance of exercise, lifestyle and having a healthy mindset. This class is perfect for those who want to get healthy or make healthier choices, but aren’t sure where to start or are confused by all the online information and diets. It was created for those who have heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammatory diseases and chronic pain who need to make serious changes in the way they eat, live, move and think. If you are sitting on the sidelines watching life it is time to Take Back Your Life!

Gina Stahl-Haven is one of the fastest rising comics in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been performing in the comedy and improv world for over 15 years and is the 2nd Place Winner of the 2019 San Francisco International Comedy Competition (the first woman to place this high in 34 years and the only woman to place second other than Ellen Degeneres). Gina recently competed in the Boston Comedy Competition and has been featured at the Un-Scripted Theatre Company, SF Improv Festival, Hawaii Improv Festival and various comedy spots throughout the country. Gina’s real take on life, motherhood, dating, and navigating Costco; combined with her intoxicating stage presence make her irresistible to watch and impossible not to follow her to her car after the show. But don’t do that.

Escape Fort Nisqually is a collaboration between Metro Parks Tacoma, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, and Labyrinth Escape Games out of Portland, Oregon.
