Pumpkin spice and everything nice! It’s time for annual trips to local pumpkin patches! Yes, trips with an s! You will want to visit all these wonderful farms multiple times. From corn mazes and tractor rides to donuts and kettle corn, these farms have all you could want in a family-friendly fall activity. Here are the 2024 pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Pierce County.
Tips for visiting local pumpkin patches:
- Go early in the season for the best selection.
- Early morning trips have fewer crowds.
- Wear comfortable shoes for walking.
- Bring sunscreen and an umbrella. You just never know!
- Put cardboard or plastic garbage bags down in your car to keep it clean.
- Bring cash, though some accept cards, it’s good to be prepared.
Thomasson Family Farm

Fall at the Thomasson Family Farm is not to be missed! Starting September 28, head to this pumpkin patch in Pierce County for tons of fall family fun. General admission includes a plethora of fun activities, including a corn maze, wagon and tractor rides, rubber duck races, fairy tail trail, giant board games and many more kid-friendly activities. Included with weekend admission are laser tag (weather permitting), mega slide, junior zipline and the apple sling shot.
Of course, you can’t forget your pumpkins! Admission is required for the pumpkin patch, or you can purchase a pre-picked pumpkin at the ticket booth. Dogs are allowed, but only in the pumpkin patch. Buy tickets early online at the Thomasson Family Farm website and save. Tickets must be purchased online at least 24 hours in advance.
Sidhu Farms

Sidhu Farms pumpkin patch in Puyallup is opening on September 28. The 2024 theme is bigfoot, which you know they will do up right! Look for more information coming soon, but they always have a corn maze, petting zoo and pumpkin slingshot for the family to try. Entry is free, and dogs are welcome! Picha Farms will once again be open for pumpkin picking all October long! Enjoy a five-acre corn maze, hay rides, and a slingshot game! Shop for fall decorations, too. They do not have an admission fee, but you can rent space for a birthday tent for a unique way to celebrate! Dogs are allowed, but not in the maze or on the hayride.
Maris Farms

Enjoy all their fun activities, including paintball, human foosball, corn maze, jumping pillow and more.

Spooner Farms pumpkin patch in Puyallup has over 50 pumpkin, gourd, squash and corn varieties, perfect for all your fall needs.
There is no entry or parking fee, but different activities have individual pricing. Enjoy their corn maze, pumpkin slingshots, tractor rides, pedal karts and more! Kids under 12 will love the Pumpkin Pete’s Playtown. Check out the animals, gift and candy store, duck races and, on the weekends, a balloon artist.
This year’s food vendors include Corndogs of the World, NW Corn Roasters, It’s Espresso on the Go, POP! Kettle Corn, Supreme Smashburgers, Hidalgo Barbacoa, Brad’s Killer Kitchen and TNT Mini Donuts. No dogs allowed.
