Spring is here, which means it’s almost time for a visit from the Easter Bunny! Get your baskets ready, as there are plenty of eggs, treats and other goodies hidden throughout Tacoma and all of Pierce County for your children to find. All the fun starts early this year, so be sure to read on to find the 2022 Easter egg hunts and activities in Pierce County.

Easter Bash
South Hill Mall

Kick off the Easter season at South Hill Mall. Their Easter Bash is happening on March 25, starting with their fun run. Kids get a fun tie-dye Bunny Dash shirt and a swag bag. Then, get ready for the red carpet arrival of the Easter Bunny! There will be snacks, giveaways, activities and more as you celebrate the Easter Bunny’s arrival. Race participants get an extra chance to win a prize. Pre-register online.
April 8
The Commons
1928 S. Commons, Federal Way
On April 8-10 and April 15-16, get all dressed up in your Easter best and get a family photo with the Easter bunny at The Commons. Every child also gets a free activity book! If you purchase photos, each child also gets a free plush bunny and you get a set of free wallets (April 8-10 only) to share with the grandparents!

Easter Movie at the Pool

Enjoy the cute movie “Hop” while lounging in or near the pool at the Fife Aquatic Center! This is an Easter tradition for many families, so check it out for yourself. There be plenty of treats and prizes. Floats and innertubes are available. Children wearing a life jacket or under the age of 7 will need to be accompanied by an adult in the water. All swimmers must be registered.

Easter Festival

The City of Fife is putting on a free Easter Festival in 2022! Bring your baskets, and the whole family can walk the track looking for candy and treats while enjoying entertainment along the way. Activities include a giant inflatable slide, bounce house. obstacle course, eggtastic games, festive fun and pictures with the Easter Bunny! Children will have chances to win prizes!
Drive-Thru Bunny Bundles
Chambers Creek Regional Park

Put on by Pierce County Parks & Recreation, this drive-thru event is a safe way to have some Easter fun. Pre-purchase your baskets online by April 4 and then drive by the park to pick yours up on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Baskets include 15 filled eggs, crafts and other fun activities. Baskets must be pre-purchased.
Fircrest Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Fircrest Park

Fircrest Park will once again have their three eggs hunts for kids up to 9-years-old. Come at 9 a.m. for Easter Bunny photos, games and refreshments. At 10 a.m., the kids under 4 can hunt eggs in the Tot Lot. At 10:15 a.m., they will have the Easter egg hunt for 5 and 6-year-olds in the Community Center Plaza, while the 7 to 9-year-old children will be hunting in the Pool Party Room Patio. All are free for the whole family.
JBLM Easter Dash

The JBLM Easter Dash is happening again on April 16! Free for the entire family, they will divide the Easter egg hunts based on age. Be sure to bring your own baskets! Children can exchange the eggs they find for an Easter goodie bag filled with candy and other fun surprises. The schedule is done by the last name:

Spring Egg Hunt
