For 100 years, United Way of Pierce County has invested every dollar we can to tackle poverty in Pierce County. United, we’re confronting the struggles of poverty and hunger in our community. From November 15 through December 15, we invite the community to help feed families in need this holiday season by donating food to be distributed by Emergency Food Network during our ‘Everything But the Turkey’ food drive! If you are unable to attend you may make a monetary donation that will go directly to feeding families.
This year, United Way of Pierce County is celebrating 100 years of building a thriving community for everyone and creating possibilities together. So much has changed over the past 100 years. Still, one thing that has remained constant is United Way of Pierce County’s commitment to mobilizing the caring power of the community to improve the health, education and financial stability of every person. United Way of Pierce County identifies and works to address our community’s most critical problems—and together, we will lift 15,000 families out of poverty by 2028.
