On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Puyallup Police Department in cooperation with the Puyallup School District celebrated the 2014 Shop With A Cop program.
Officers from the Puyallup Police Department took children from nine Puyallup elementary schools to stores where the students could buy holiday gifts. This year the program was sponsors were Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, and Trackside Pizza.
In addition to volunteering the day of the event, many of the officers who volunteer also routinely help buy gifts for the children.
